First issue of inter- collegiate literary magazine

Noumenon, an inter- collegiate literary magazine, will release its Spring 2011 issue on April 22nd.  The magazine consists of three departments—poetry, fiction, and visual art—overseen by editors from various schools. This first issue was compiled by editors from Williams, Skidmore, Wesleyan, Vassar, Middlebury, Swarthmore, Brandeis & MCLA; Robin Hackett (Williams) and Gabe Rossman (Wesleyan) are the executive editors of this issue.

Although the editorial staff would like to distribute the issue widely, distribution will likely be somewhat haphazard as submissions were received from 29 Northeastern schools. The first issue is approximately 72 pages long and includes the work of students from RISD, Williams, Wesleyan, Vassar, Harvard, Skidmore, Bard, MCLA, Middlebury, Brandeis, BC, Tufts, UVM, Bowdoin, & RIT. For future issues Noumenon hopes to distribute large scale (500+ copies) on campuses that have provided some funding to the magazine.
