Amherst swimmer qualifies for Olympic Trials


NCAA Division III National Swimmer of the Year Kendra Stern recently competed in the 2011 Eric Namesnik Grand Prix. There, in Ann Arbor, the Amherst senior qualified for Olympic Trials in three events: the 200-meter freestyle , the 400-meter freestyle, and the 100-meter freestyle. The Olympic Trials will take place June 25-July 2, 2012, at the Qwest Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
