HamilKorf: yet another sport we’ve never heard of

Yesterday NPR’s sports magazine broadcast Only A Game aired a segment on korfball and Hamilton’s second national korfball tournament. Louis Boguchwal ’12 organized the tournament, and he is quoted in an article on the college’s website:

“HamilKorf has provided a spark that has reinvigorated the sport in this country.  I feel it imperative to develop a solid foundation for U.S. korfball, and the past two national tournaments at Hamilton have been the first steps,” said Boguchwal.

Hamilkorf– it does have a certain ring to it, doesn’t it? But what in the name of Robert Pattinson is korfball?!

According to YouTube, “This video explains korfball in a short period of time and is intended for promotional purposes.” You had us at “short period.”

  1. Fear not, ‘cac-ers, 99% of the Hamilton campus would rather not hear another fucking word about Korfball.
