Jason Hehir ’98 was recently featured in The Boston Globe for his notable ongoing career as a Sports producer. Hehir, who played varsity baseball while at Williams, directed the highest-rated documentary ever produced by ESPN. The film “The Fab Five’’ chronicles the recruitment of basketball stars Juwon Howard, Jimmy King, Jalen Rose, Ray Jackson, and Chris Webber for the 1991 University of Michigan men’s basketball team.
Sam Flood, another Williams grad, gave Hehir his career start at NBC Sports. Later Hehir would work for HBO where he led the original production team behind the “24/7’’ series and was involved with “CostasNow” and “Inside the NFL.”
